These are the people who build our cubicles, chassis, and Transwave units in-house, ensuring we always have plenty of stock on hand to meet customer needs.

Carl
Operations Manager
Carl joined Power Capacitors in 2018, bringing extensive experience in electrical operations and project management. As Operations Manager, he oversees workshop activities and production, driving efficiency and quality. Carl is passionate about collaboration and continuous improvement. Away from work, he enjoys football and golf — competitive hobbies that help him stay sharp both on and off the field.

Neil
Procurement & Stock Controller
Neil joined Power Capacitors in 2007 as Purchasing Lead and quickly became a key part of the operations team. His role spans procurement, stock control and — occasionally — operating the overhead crane or forklift! Neil is known for securing the best materials and equipment from our suppliers. In his spare time, he enjoys attending 80s soul events.

John
Panel Builder
John has been a Panel Builder at Power Capacitors since 2001, with a particular focus on the design and wiring of PFC and AHF control panels. He completed his apprenticeship with a large switchgear manufacturer and holds a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification. Outside work, he’s a lifelong Aston Villa fan.

Jonathan
Panel Builder
Jonathan joined Power Capacitors in 2000. After a brief stint on the site team, he has spent most of his career as a Control Panel Wireman. Over the years, he’s estimated to have built more than a thousand PFC cubicles. A sports enthusiast, Jonathan is especially passionate about cricket and football, both as a player and fan.

Site Engineer
Carl joined Power Capacitors in 2007, initially working in the stores before training as an electrician. Now a key part of the site team, he supports installation and service projects across the country. Outside work, Carl follows a wide range of sports including football, cricket, F1 and the NFL.

Terrel
Panel Builder
Terrel joined Power Capacitors in 2021 and is currently working toward his City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification. As part of the company’s apprenticeship pathway, he began building Transwave converters and is progressing towards a future site role. Away from work, Terrel is an R&B DJ performing at venues across the UK.

Eliot
Panel Builder
Eliot joined Power Capacitors in 2022 and works in the production team, wiring and assembling PFC and AHF cubicles. Reliable and detail-oriented, he plays an important role in delivering high-quality panels. Outside the workshop, Eliot enjoys hands-on projects and spending time with friends and family.

James
Panel Builder
James joined Power Capacitors in 2024 with two decades of experience building switchgear and control panels. He completed his apprenticeship at Eaton Electrical and has worked on high- profile projects including Heathrow T5 and the Octagon in Birmingham. James holds City & Guilds Level 3 and 18th Edition wiring regs qualifications. In his free time, he enjoys F1, gaming, and building custom computers.

Leon
Panel Builder
Leon joined Power Capacitors in 2024, bringing 25 years’ experience in panel wiring, switchgear assembly, and electrical fitting. He completed his apprenticeship with Interserve and holds a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification. Leon is a passionate sports fan and youth football coach, supporting his son’s teams whenever possible.

Kevin
Site Services Manager
Kevin joined Power Capacitors in 2012, bringing a background in control panel manufacturing and installation. He now leads the Site Services team and gets particular satisfaction from the more complex projects that demand a creative approach. Outside work, Kevin enjoys life with his wife and two sons, cheering on Ireland Rugby, and one day hopes to pick up a hobby of his own.

Josh
Site Engineer
Josh joined Power Capacitors in 2021, beginning in the Transwave team before progressing to PFC panel assembly and, later, the site engineering team. He now supports the installation, commissioning, and servicing of PFC and AHF systems. Known for his adaptability and focus, Josh is also a passionate football fan — both on the pitch and on the PlayStation.

Richard
Site Engineer
Richard first joined Power Capacitors in 2005 and returned in 2021 after a brief post-COVID hiatus. He supports a wide range of site engineering work and brings solid hands-on experience to every job. Outside work, Richard enjoys outdoor activities, watching sports and catching up on soaps. He’s also a proud dad to a teenage daughter.

Mike
Site Engineer
Mike joined Power Capacitors in 2012 and has spent over a decade installing, servicing and repairing PFC equipment across the UK. He enjoys the variety that each day brings and takes pride in delivering quality service. Away from work, Mike is often found on the golf course or watching football.

Luke
Site Engineer
Luke joined Power Capacitors in 2019, initially building PFC cubicles in production before progressing into site engineering. He now helps install and maintain power quality systems. Luke is known for his reliability and focus. Outside of work, he enjoys watching football and following a wide range of sports.

Jason
Site Engineer
Jason joined Power Capacitors in 2025, bringing over 15 years’ experience as an electrician specialising in inspection, testing, and commissioning of automated systems. Always curious and up for a challenge, he’s currently learning to paraglide — chasing views of the countryside from above. He also enjoys wordplay and would modestly describe himself as both “fastidious” and “epicurean.”

Mick
Site Engineer
Mick joined Power Capacitors in 2025 but brings over 40 years of capacitor industry experience across maintenance, production and testing. Formerly the first field service engineer for LV PFC banks in the UK, he now contributes his deep knowledge and passion to the growing site team. Outside work, Mick (aka “Moose”) enjoys country walks, aviation adventures, and evenings of good food, wine, and company. He’s also a loyal Liverpool fan.

Steve
Site Engineer
Steve joined Power Capacitors in 2016 and brings energy and experience to every job, whether servicing existing systems or installing new ones. He thrives on variety and enjoys solving on-site challenges. When not working, Steve stays active with mountain biking, gym sessions, and watching football — though strictly from the side-lines.

Grant
Site Engineer & NICEIC QS
Grant joined Power Capacitors in 2001 and became the company’s first full-time site services engineer. He has travelled the country installing, servicing, and repairing PFC systems, and now also serves as our NIC/EIC Qualified Supervisor. Always keen to adapt with technology, Grant is especially interested in the growing role of harmonic filtering. Off the clock, he’s a proud Aston Villa fan and enthusiastic golfer.

Baldwin
Finance Manager
James became Finance Manager at Power Capacitors in January 2025, overseeing everything from day-to-day accounts to long-term planning. With a background that began in a bookmaker and a passion for spreadsheets, he’s now progressing along the CIMA pathway. Outside work, James is active in local theatre, helping bring musicals to life — though jazz hands remain strictly optional.

Shantelle joined Power Capacitors in 2024 after 13 years in the promotional merchandise industry. Now at the heart of the Site Services team, she helps coordinate service and maintenance planning with energy, humour, and (famously) cake. Known for feeding her colleagues as much as feeding the schedule, Shantelle brings both warmth and efficiency to her role.

With a calm, capable approach, she supports admin and credit control while making sure cash keeps flowing. Outside work, Gill enjoys countryside walks, good food, and planning her next travel adventure — preferably with wine and great company.

Sue joined Power Capacitors in 2012, bringing experience from finance and admin roles that fitted around family life. Starting in purchasing, her role has grown to include sales support across the business. A former rugby scrum-half and keen motorcyclist, Sue now spends weekends on the open road — often heading for the hills of Wales.

Poppy joined Power Capacitors in 2025 as part of the Site Services team, supporting its daily operations with energy and enthusiasm. Harry became Managing Director of Power Capacitors Ltd in 2024. He’s passionate about the growing role of power quality in modern energy systems, especially as the penetration of renewables and non-linear loads increases. Harry is focused on aligning the company’s technical capabilities to meet the needs of our customers. Outside work, he stays active through running and tennis.

Matt joined Power Capacitors in 1994 as a graduate technical sales engineer. He’s held numerous roles, including Head of Engineering, before returning as General Manager after a spell at VAR Services. With deep expertise across all power quality technologies, Matt drives innovation and best practices. Off duty, he’s into obscure indie bands, retro gaming, and the highs and lows of Ipswich Town FC.

Engineering Manager
Joe joined Power Capacitors in 2017 and has steadily built his career from internal sales to Engineering Manager. Along the way, he earned a HNC and recently completed a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Known for his friendly, solutions-focused approach, Joe thrives on solving engineering challenges. At home, he’s a family man and a wannabe rockstar — much to his neighbours’ delight.

Sales Manager
Teale joined Power Capacitors Ltd in 1998 and has become an expert in his field. He remains fully motivated about assisting customers in properly maintaining site distributed electricity supplies ongoing in their best quality & most efficient condition. His focus is on understanding the needs of our customers and aligning our capabilities to meet their expectations & budgets in an efficient and safe manner. Outside of work, Teale enjoys sport & stays active keeping pace with his two teenage children.

Simon joined Power Capacitors in 2023 after over a decade in power quality sales at ABB, and earlier roles at Freedom Group and Scottish Power. He specialises in PFC, harmonic filters, hybrid products, and compliance surveys under G5/4 and G5/5. When not working, Simon enjoys travelling and playing squash.

Komal joined Power Capacitors in 2024 and works as an Internal Sales Engineer, handling enquiries across our capacitor range. With a degree in electrical engineering, she’s passionate about making technical support accessible and effective. Komal is known for her helpful, can-do attitude. Away from the desk, she’s a dedicated cricket fan always happy to chat about the game.

Tarique joined Power Capacitors in 2025, bringing over 25 years of sales experience with companies such as Routeco, Emerson, and RS Components. With an MBA in Marketing and a mechanical engineering degree, he supports customers across PFC, harmonic filtering, hybrid solutions, and site surveys. In his downtime, Tarique enjoys swimming, movies, and karaoke.
